Oxford Magistrates’ Court heard several traffic-related prosecutions during the latest session.

A 30-year-old Oxford resident received a six-month driving prohibition after admitting to operating a vehicle on Rymers Lane in Oxford during April.

Financial penalties included a ÂŁ300 monetary penalty alongside ÂŁ120 in court costs and an identical victim surcharge amount.

Six penalty points were also imposed on his driving record.

A 45-year-old motorist from Coventry was found guilty of careless driving following an incident on Wretchwick Way in Bicester back in March.

The court levied a ÂŁ660 fine, ÂŁ264 victim surcharge and ÂŁ130 costs.

Six penalty points were endorsed onto his licence.

A 70-year-old man from Southall was convicted of withholding driver identity details connected to an alleged traffic violation in Banbury spanning from late December through mid-January.

He was ordered to pay ÂŁ616 in fines together with ÂŁ240 surcharge and ÂŁ120 costs.

Six penalty points were applied.

A 29-year-old Banbury resident admitted to speeding on the M40 motorway between junctions 10 and 11 in Oxfordshire during April.

A fine of ÂŁ80 was issued alongside ÂŁ120 costs and a ÂŁ32 surcharge.

Five penalty points were recorded.

A 37-year-old driver from Gosport pleaded guilty to travelling at 68mph in a 50mph zone along the Eastern Bypass Road in Oxford during January.

He was fined ÂŁ666 with ÂŁ266 surcharge and ÂŁ120 costs, received a six-month ban and four penalty points.

A Bicester man was sentenced to 35 weeks imprisonment after admitting to twice violating a restraining order within the town during July.

Additional costs of ÂŁ85 were ordered.

A 31-year-old Luton resident faced two separate speeding counts both occurring within 30mph limits.

On the A40 London Road in High Wycombe in January, a speed of 38mph was recorded.

The following day, he was clocked at 36mph on Woodstock Road in Oxford.

A ÂŁ142 fine and ÂŁ57 surcharge were imposed alongside three penalty points.

An Oxford man aged 44 appeared before the court for operating a motor vehicle on Henley Avenue in Oxford without holding either a valid licence or third-party insurance cover during June.

He was ordered to pay ÂŁ300 in fines, ÂŁ120 surcharge and ÂŁ85 costs, with six penalty points added.

A 19-year-old from Thame admitted to careless driving in a Fiat Punto along Western Esplanade in Westcliff-on-Sea during March.

Court-ordered penalties comprised a ÂŁ303 fine, ÂŁ121 surcharge and ÂŁ130 costs.

Six penalty points were endorsed.

A 39-year-old Abingdon resident was disqualified from driving for six months after pleading guilty to speeding in a Renault vehicle along the A34 at Whitchurch last year.

The vehicle was travelling at 88mph within a 60mph restriction.

Financial penalties included a ÂŁ430 fine, ÂŁ172 surcharge and ÂŁ130 costs.

Six penalty points were applied to his licence.
