A veteran figure from motorsport is poised to be the featured guest at an exclusive event.

Mike Wilds is scheduled to appear alongside Mission Motorsport for a conversational evening held at the Hagerty Clubhouse situated within Bicester Motion on Friday, October 23.

During the 1970s, Wilds raced vehicles constructed by March in Bicester.

His career subsequently advanced to Formula 1 competition with the Ensign and BRM teams.

The former driver also achieved notable results in Formula 3 and the World Sportscar Championship during the latter part of the 1980s.

Tickets cost £12, with complimentary admission available to those from the Armed Forces community.

Bicester Motion occupies a 444-acre expanse that previously served as an RAF bomber training airfield during the Second World War.

The location now operates as a centre dedicated to mobility innovation.
