Ryanair launched its two new services from Glasgow Airport to London Stansted and Warsaw on Sunday, March 29.
These first flights mark a substantial expansion of the airport’s destination offerings as the low-cost airline gears up for its busiest Summer 2026 schedule yet.
The new routes form part of Ryanair’s expanded Glasgow operation for Summer 2026, which will see the carrier operating in excess of 100 weekly flights to eight destinations.
The new twice-daily London Stansted rotation further strengthens Glasgow’s links to England’s capital, while the Warsaw service extends Glasgow’s international footprint.
Jonathan Ford, portfolio manager at AGS Airports, stated that it was excellent to see Ryanair’s new services to London Stansted and Warsaw begin operating today.
The twice-daily Stansted route gives extra flexibility for business and leisure passengers travelling to and from England’s innovation corridor, while Warsaw provides a valuable new link that widens the international travel choices accessible to customers.
These launches mark the start of what will be a record-breaking summer for Ryanair at Glasgow, and the airport expects to welcome many additional passengers through its facilities.
Last month, Ryanair revealed its 2026 vision for Glasgow featuring 10 routes, including holiday spots such as Lanzarote, Palma de Mallorca, and Tenerife, alongside city break choices including Barcelona and Pisa.
The budget airline will also boost frequencies on its Alicante, Faro, Pisa, Malaga and Murcia routes.
The revised schedule is backed by Ryanair’s two aircraft stationed at Glasgow Prestwick.
