Popular children’s TV personalities such as Chase from PAW Patrol, Peter Rabbit, Zog and Peppa Pig will be welcoming shoppers at Westgate Oxford throughout the Easter holidays.
The free activities are running on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the half-term break, beginning on March 31 and April 1, then continuing on April 7 and 8.
Clare Martin, acting centre director at Westgate Oxford, explained that families across Oxfordshire are looking for ways to keep youngsters entertained during the Easter break, and the centre is pleased to offer a selection of complimentary indoor events. She added that numerous delighted families are expected to visit the shopping centre this spring.
Chase from PAW Patrol is appearing on March 31, with Peter Rabbit taking centre stage on April 1, Zog on April 7 and Peppa Pig on April 8.
Every day will include five different time slots, with one session reserved for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Pre-booking is necessary to obtain the free tickets.
Shoppers can also take part in Westgate Oxford’s Crafting Club, open daily from 10am until 7pm, offering mask decoration, bookmark making and coaster design workshops.
The centre’s Hatter’s Hunt trail, created in partnership with The Story Museum, is also running throughout the holiday.
The Alice in Wonderland-themed activity challenges families to work through riddles and brainteasers to discover five hidden plaques.
Completed trail maps can be exchanged for a reward from the Guest Experience team.
Visitors can additionally unwind at the centre’s ART and PLAY 3D installation.
