A murder inquiry remains active following the death of a young patient at hospital who suffered severe injuries.
Thames Valley Police confirmed Saturday that investigations persist after authorities detained two individuals on Thursday, March 26 in Berkshire, located beyond Oxfordshire’s border.
A 27-year-old male and a 28-year-old female, both residents of Slough, were taken into custody facing allegations of murder and causing grievous bodily harm.
The constabulary reported that both individuals have been released on conditional bail while investigators continue their work.
The arrests followed an incident where a minor received critical injuries and subsequently died in hospital, stated Detective Inspector Nick Hind of the Major Crime Unit.
The investigator noted that police work remains in preliminary phases and recognized the occurrence would probably generate considerable unease among local residents.
