A primary school located in Oxfordshire has opened a brand-new library space intended to instil a lifelong love of books among its pupils.
Hailey CE Primary unveiled the facility to align with World Book Day, with costs covered through donations from the Friends of Hailey School, community grants, local business supporters, and charitable families.
Mrs Davies, the headteacher, explained that the school takes pride in working together to provide improved chances for its children through the transformative impact of reading.
The library houses a wide-ranging collection across multiple genres, created to support pupils in strengthening their reading skills and discovering fresh interests.
Anticipation is evident throughout the entire school community.
Mrs Davies noted that the buzz surrounding the library’s launch is so great that everyone is pressing their faces to the doors attempting to glimpse inside. She expressed her excitement about introducing students to the magic found within these volumes.
