Faces of Oxfordshire county lines drug dealers jailed

Two individuals have been imprisoned for their involvement in running a county line operation in Oxfordshire.

James Alder and Brendon Shamu received their sentences at Oxford Crown Court on March 27, a Friday.

Alder, aged 21 and residing on Limborough Road in Wantage, and Shamu, aged 27 and living at Field Gardens in Steventon near Abingdon, both faced charges relating to drug offences committed in Abingdon between October 1 of the previous year and January 23 of the current year.

Both defendants admitted guilt to charges of being involved in the supply of class A drugs, specifically crack cocaine and heroin.

Shamu additionally entered a guilty plea to a charge of possessing criminal funds, totaling £8,795 in cash.

The court was informed that the pair were connected to a county line operation known as the Dior Line.

Shamu received a combined prison term of 49 months, while Alder was sentenced to three years.

Orders were issued for the seizure and destruction of the controlled substances, related equipment, mobile telephones, and the cash seized.
