A property owner residing in Dubai failed to remit over £260,000 in taxes to HM Revenue and Customs.
The government has released a new compilation from the department in which Uma Ali Sheikh has been identified.
According to HMRC, details become public when an individual or company has committed at least one intentional default exceeding £25,000.
The compilation receives updates every quarter, with entries remaining visible for twelve months before removal.
An investigation by HMRC resulted in penalties being imposed on Uma Ali Sheikh for either intentional inaccuracies in tax submissions or a deliberate omission to declare tax obligations.
The individual, aged 50, appears in the records as a landlord at Apt 4604, The Torch Tower, Al Sharta Street, Dubai Marina in Dubai.
HMRC records indicate that from April 6, 2014 through April 5, 2019, tax amounting to £261,252 went unpaid.
A penalty of £137,333.77 was subsequently paid.
Records at Companies House show British nationality, identifying him as an expatriate.
