Authorities continue searching for a missing young man from Oxfordshire who failed to appear at crown court proceedings.

Charlie Page, from Faringdon, is being sought in relation to a sexual assault case at Oxford Crown Court.

The 19-year-old was declared wanted by Thames Valley Police on March 9 following his non-appearance at a court hearing related to an alleged sexual offence in Oxford last year.

During court proceedings on Wednesday, April 1, officials confirmed he remains at large and that all police leads have thus far yielded negative results.

The court was informed that financial investigations are continuing, his residence has been searched, and locations he frequently visits have been checked.

A new trial date has been scheduled for December 14, with the case expected to proceed even if he remains unapprehended by that time. The proceedings are anticipated to last four to five days.

Members of the public are advised not to approach the teenager if spotted and to contact emergency services immediately.

Police describe him as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes, and note he is known to visit Wantage, Abingdon and Oxford.
