Easter festivities drew crowds to Garth Park in Bicester.

The Mayor’s Easter Fun Day was held on Thursday, April 2, between 11am and 3pm, offering activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages.

Photographs depict families partaking in various activities such as go-karts, Easter-themed games, and a Children’s Easter Cake decorating competition.

In a Facebook post promoting the event, Bicester Town Council stated: “It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a day out in the park while helping raise funds for FLAG DV and The Hummingbird Centre, two organisations doing vital work in our community.”

Garth Park serves as the primary park in Bicester. It opened to the public in the early 1950s and consists of the formal garden grounds surrounding Garth House.

Garth House and its adjacent grounds were constructed in the 1840s.
