Oxfordshire Post Office Branch Moving This Month

Published on

A Post Office outlet in Oxfordshire is relocating within the local area.

The manager currently based at 11H Milton Park in Milton will move premises this month to access bigger, modernised accommodation.

The fresh location will be at Signal Yard, 7b Park Square in Milton Park, Milton.

Refits are in progress at the empty retail unit to create a cards and stationery shopping space alongside the Milton counter service.

The present site will shut its doors on Tuesday 28 April at 17:30, while the new branch will open for business on Thursday 30 April at 13:00.

While the move takes place, customers can use Steventon Post Office on High Street or Drayton Post Office at The Green as alternatives.

Two contemporary counters featuring low-level screening will be installed.

Opening times will remain Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:30.

A Post Office representative commented that the new premises lie approximately 500 metres from the previous location.

They acknowledged that while some patrons will find the new spot more accessible, others will need to travel further.

Regarding getting to the new venue on foot, the routes feature well-maintained paths with dropped kerbs along the way from the branch.

Car parking is available, including a dedicated disabled space positioned behind the new building.
