The TV star will give a viewer the chance to achieve millionaire status before this month is over.

Viewers know him from his work alongside Richard Hammond and James May on the BBC’s motoring show and the subsequent streaming platform continuation.

After more than two decades as part of the renowned trio, the presenter has fronted the ITV quiz programme since 2018.

This position came after he succeeded former host Chris Tarrant, who had presented the show since its inception.

The broadcaster revealed that two players will make it to the final question during this series.

ITV has now confirmed that at least one contestant will walk away with one million pounds in the episodes scheduled to air this month.

The host stated that this could be the best series yet, noting that watching two people get to the million-pound question was extraordinary and that the atmosphere in the studio when they sit down to face that last question is truly incredible.

The presenter lives in Oxfordshire, where he purchased the agricultural land now known as Diddly Squat, which was previously called Curdle Hill, in 2008.

The Chadlington site features in the popular Prime Video documentary series Clarkson’s Farm.

The acclaimed show has aired four seasons, with the fifth series set to begin next month.

Up to eight new episodes are expected to be released on the streaming service, with the presenter again taking on a prominent role.
