The pet supply retailer has revealed ambitious expansion plans involving more than 160 new outlets across the United Kingdom over the next five years, with five of these targeted for Oxfordshire.

The business currently runs 120 shops. During 2026, fresh locations were introduced in Blackpool, Ponders End, Hartlepool and Whitehaven.

If suitable buildings become available, the company may secure deals for a further 25 stores during this year.

Key target regions encompass major cities such as Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leicester, Nottingham and Manchester, together with areas encircled by London’s M25 orbital route.

The firm’s property team is looking for sites measuring between 3,000 and 7,000 square feet, favouring retail park locations or prominent road-side positions.

The hunt for premises is being managed by Edgerley Simpson Howe for England and Wales, with Savills covering Scotland.

The company also revealed on April 14 the confirmed opening dates for its next three branches in Lincoln, Kidderminster and Yeovil.

Lincoln is set to welcome its new store on May 15, followed by Kidderminster on May 29 and Yeovil on June 19.

Another new branch in Derby is scheduled to open during the early summer period.
