A medical company based in Oxfordshire is preparing to cease operations after initiating a voluntary liquidation procedure, according to formal announcements.
William Harvey Medical Limited, whose registered office is located in Weston-on-the-Green, is undergoing a solvent liquidation following shareholder approval to terminate the business.
Established in 2011, the organization is recorded with Companies House as engaging in “specialist medical practice activities.”
Documentation dated Friday, March 27 indicates that written resolutions were adopted authorizing the company to be wound up voluntarily pursuant to section 84(1)(b) of the Insolvency Act 1986.
A notice published in the London Gazette reveals that Thomas Russell and Sandra Mundy, representing the accounting firm James Cowper Kreston, assumed roles as joint liquidators starting from Friday, March 27.
In an additional notification to creditors, any parties holding claims against the business have been instructed to forward complete particulars to the liquidators at James Cowper Kreston’s Southampton location by April 24, 2026.
Members’ voluntary liquidations commonly serve to terminate solvent businesses and allocate remaining assets among shareholders, rather than signaling financial failure.
James Cowper Kreston was contacted for response by this publication.
