A criminal from Oxford took approximately £3,000 in merchandise from grocery stores during the current year, according to proceedings in court.

Perry Webb, residing at Nightingale Avenue in Oxford, recently appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court for sentencing.

The 29-year-old individual admitted to committing 12 shoplifting offenses in Oxford during February and March of this year. The combined worth of the stolen merchandise totaled £2,926.35.

Court documentation indicates the merchandise, comprising alcoholic beverages, apparel and meat, was taken from Sainsburys and Asda stores.

The defendant additionally admitted to a single charge of possessing class A narcotics, specifically crack cocaine, in Oxford on March 31 of this year.

Webb received a six-month custodial sentence, which was suspended for 12 months. He was also mandated to provide restitution totaling £2,926.35.

The court ordered the narcotics to be confiscated and destroyed.
