Oxford officials have opened a probe following accounts of a man acting improperly while lying on seating in a local green space.

The incident occurred on April 10, a Friday, at roughly 7pm at Goose Green park in Wolvercote, Oxford.

Thames Valley Police indicated that the man was spotted on a park bench behaving in an improper fashion.

The force has commenced an inquiry into the indecent exposure, requesting that anyone possessing pertinent details get in contact.

The man is believed to stand around 5 feet 8 inches tall, with dark hair and a dark beard, and was wearing dark track pants and a dark weatherproof jacket during the occurrence.

Officials are asking those who saw the incident or have information that could assist the investigation to contact Thames Valley Police.

This represents the second appeal concerning an indecent exposure matter in Oxford this week and the third such occurrence across the county.

Thames Valley Police released a separate appeal for witnesses regarding an incident on Longford Way in Oxford, where a man exposed himself after cycling past a woman and her small child.

The same individual later exposed himself to another victim along a bicycle path near Didcot on the same afternoon.

This morning, police provided an update regarding an inquiry into an indecent exposure incident in Banbury, where a man exposed himself close to a nursery for children.

All three inquiries remain ongoing.
