Investigators are examining accounts of an occurrence at a park in Oxford where a bare-chested man reportedly tried to grab a teenage girl.
The incident occurred at Oatlands Park in the Botley district of Oxford’s western sector on Wednesday, April 8th around 3:30pm.
Police stated that a man whose torso was uncovered, wearing only trousers and flip-flop style shoes, approached the young female in the open space and attempted to take hold of her.
Fortunately, she suffered no injuries and managed to leave the area.
Thames Valley Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with details to support their thorough investigation.
The man is described as being of African heritage, possibly aged between his late twenties and early thirties, with an average build, short tightly-curled hair cut in a rectangular shape, and dark brown eyes.
