A bakery company marked a century of presence in Bicester back in 2004.

Bakels, a British bakery supplier, was captured in photographs from 2004 commemorating 100 years of business in the Oxfordshire town.

The enterprise has now surpassed 120 years of operation, established in 1904, and remains based on Granville Way in Bicester.

The business produces, delivers, and provides technical assistance for innovative bakery ingredients and solutions aimed at the commercial baking sector.

During 2004, UK regional managing director Paul Morrow and group chairman Armin Ulrich sliced a centenary celebration cake to mark the milestone.
