A man has been charged in connection with a theft at an automotive supply company in Banbury where two delivery vans were stolen during the weekend.

The break-in occurred at the Euro Car Parts store on Dorcas Road in Banbury on Saturday, April 18.

Police established the theft took place at around 10pm, with the two vans taken from the site.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said officers are examining the circumstances of the theft of two vans from Euro Car Parts on Dorcas Road in Banbury, which happened at approximately 10pm on Saturday, April 18.

One man has been charged with several offences and a stolen vehicle has been recovered with help from partner law enforcement agencies.

James Langhor, who has no fixed address, has been charged with multiple offences connected to this case.

The 34-year-old faces three counts of attempted vehicle theft, two counts of vehicle theft, one count of dangerous driving, one count of non-residential burglary with intent to steal, one count of driving while disqualified, and one count of possessing articles for use in burglary.

He is being held in custody awaiting trial and is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, May 22.
