Temporary closure alert issued for West Oxfordshire car park

A short-term shutdown has been declared for a parking facility in Carterton.

The Black Bourton Road car park will be inaccessible from Thursday evening, April 23, because of tree maintenance work.

Carterton Town Council announced that the site should be back in operation by Friday afternoon, April 24, once the tasks are completed.

A council spokesperson explained that West Oxfordshire District Council informed them additional tree work would take place at Black Bourton Road car park on the 24th. Sections of the car park will be sectioned off during the night hours to allow the work to proceed, with everything due to be completed and cleared away by late afternoon.
