Formal planning documentation has confirmed that another series of Clarkson’s Farm is earmarked for summer 2027.

The documentary series follows former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson and his crew as they run activities at his farming business near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire.

The programme’s fifth series is landing on Prime Video in June this year.

The TV star revealed in his Sunday Times column in February that filming of series six had been suspended due to poor weather conditions.

Nevertheless, planning submissions lodged with West Oxfordshire District Council seeking approval for alterations to his farm shop suggest the sixth series will screen on television the subsequent year.

The programme, which debuted in 2021, highlights the obstacles faced by British farmers and the financial burdens of operating a working agricultural holding.

A planning consultant representing the former Top Gear personality explained that since series five has yet to air, they are requesting a new deadline of December 31, 2030. The consultant noted that this year will see the release of series five, and series six has been commissioned for broadcast in summer 2027, making an additional three-year period for monitoring and evaluation seem reasonable.

Clarkson purchased the estate, then called Curdle Hill Farm, situated within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, almost twenty years ago.

Upon deciding to manage the farm himself in 2019, he renamed it Diddly Squat Farm on account of its modest yield.

Two years ago, Clarkson established the Farmers’ Dog venture, formerly known as The Windmill, in Asthall near Burford, which offers produce grown or reared by British agricultural producers.
