St Blaise CofE Primary School located in Milton Hill remained shut on Monday, April 27 after a ruptured water main cut off the water supply.
Thames Water received notification at approximately 8 a.m., and a water tanker reached the location by roughly 8:30 a.m.
The school premises are currently unoccupied by students. Parents will receive notification should the school become operational again in the afternoon.
A statement from Thames Water has been requested.
According to Oxfordshire County Council’s closure webpage, the institution is slated to resume operations on Tuesday.
The council’s closure policy explains: “Schools have contact arrangements for when they need to close the school at short notice. Contacts may include bespoke parent mailing systems, text, social media, and the school website.
