A beloved children’s entertainer and his long-running colleague will officially open a brand-new feature at Fairytale Farm this weekend.

The fresh addition, named Journey to Alice’s Wonderland, commences at 1pm on Saturday, May 16, situated at the southern entrance to Chipping Norton.

Once the formal unveiling ceremony concludes, Sooty and his longtime television partner Richard Cadell will welcome supporters during a Meet & Greet session beginning at 2pm.

Nick Laister, proprietor of Fairytale Farm, shared his excitement about the imminent launch.

Laister mentioned they were delighted to welcome Sooty and Richard Cadell for the unveiling of Journey to Alice’s Wonderland. He noted this represented an important milestone as the site introduced its very first ride, and having such a cherished character present would make the occasion especially memorable for families.

Cadell also conveyed his eagerness for the event.

He stated that Sooty and himself felt privileged to be opening Journey to Alice’s Wonderland at Fairytale Farm. He noted this appeared to be a wonderfully creative new destination for families, and they were excited to be part of such a significant day. He added they were looking forward to meeting families there and helping launch this thrilling new experience.

The attraction offers a gentle dark ride experience inspired by Lewis Carroll’s timeless story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Entry to the ride and all opening day activities forms part of standard admission.

Guests may experience unlimited rides throughout their visit.

Fairytale Farm welcomes visitors from its location at the south entrance to Chipping Norton.
