Richard Hammond has been reunited with his collection of cars at his newly acquired million-pound property following the breakdown of his marriage last year.

The broadcaster has become a household name worldwide through his work on BBC’s Top Gear and Prime Video’s The Grand Tour over more than two decades.

He established a celebrated presenting partnership with Jeremy Clarkson, who runs a farm in Oxfordshire, alongside James May.

The broadcaster also visited his colleague’s county last summer when he appeared at Woodstock for Salon Privé, an event held at Blenheim Palace.

In January 2025, the 56-year-old announced his surprise split from his wife Mindy after 28 years of marriage.

He wrote on X that their marriage was ending but they had enjoyed 28 remarkable years together and had two wonderful daughters. He added that they would continue to be part of each other’s lives and take pride in the family they had created.

After leaving his Herefordshire castle in January the previous year, it came to light this year that Hammond had acquired a six-bedroom Georgian-style mansion in Wales worth two million pounds.

In his latest update from his new residence, the former Top Gear presenter took delivery of three of his vehicles at the property for the first time.

Posting a video on Instagram at the weekend, he said it was a significant day and something he had been looking forward to. He noted that his vehicles were arriving home at that moment and here they came. He explained these were cars that had been away being modified or repaired. He mentioned a Mustang dark horse now producing 868 horsepower, his older Mustang with newly fixed suspension, and his orange dream car, his Raptor, was back with him. He said he had recently moved, these cars had never been at this property before, and they were home. He acknowledged he acted like a child but was delighted.
