A trading company based in Des Roches Square, Witney has gone into liquidation just four years after being founded.
Beacon International Trading Limited, which specialises in wholesale purchasing and supply chain services, named Rob Keyes and David Taylor as liquidators on Friday, April 24. Both professionals work for KRE Corporate Recovery Limited.
The move came after shareholders gave their approval that same day to wind up the company, which launched in 2022.
According to its website, the business described itself as a trusted global partner for wholesale procurement and supply chain solutions.
The enterprise stated it concentrates on finding the exact products customers need, creating reliable supply channels, and delivering to any destination worldwide. The company noted its strength comes from its extensive network of international partners and long-standing sector relationships, which allow it to obtain thousands of products across different industries.
This covered farming machinery, crop production supplies, and livestock acquisition, with commercial activity spanning the United States, Canada, Australia, Africa, and mainland Europe.
Representatives for the business and its liquidators have been asked to comment further on the insolvency. The most recent financial filing indicated creditors totaling £579,795 falling due within a year.
These figures pertain to the financial period ending August 31, 2024, when the organisation had four employees and reported total equity of £256,161.
The financial records were not subject to audit. Since then, two company directors have resigned from their posts.
