Production on the provocative series commenced in May of the previous year, with enthusiasts catching glimpses of notable cast members traversing the rural regions.

Social media users flooded the platform last summer with footage of Danny Dyer portraying Freddie Jones and Alex Hassell as Rupert Campbell-Black shooting scenes at the Beaufort Polo Club in Berkeley, Gloucestershire.
Corsham, Wiltshire
David Tennant playing Tony Baddingham and Claire Rushbrook as Lady Monica Baddingham represent just two of the series’ stars who were seen filming on Corsham’s main street, a tranquil market town in Wiltshire.
That’s not the extent of it though. Storefronts in the town were even modified to recreate the 1980s setting.
Corsham’s Coppins Jewellers was temporarily rebranded as Cotchester Jewellers, Boots was transformed into a vintage Waitrose, and the local town hall served as a voting location.
Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire
Multiple cast members were observed in the town alongside substantial production equipment, with the location thought to represent the series’ fictional Rutshire setting.
Tetbury, Gloucestershire
Now residence to Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the quintessential village serves as the fictional village of Cotchester in Rivals.
With Nafessa Williams playing Cameron Cook filmed at Berkeley House, which appears as Hamilton Terrace in the show.
Chavenage House, Gloucestershire
Aidan Turner returns for the third time to Chavenage House in Gloucestershire after it was previously utilized as Poldark’s Trenwith; the Elizabethan manor house appears in Rivals as the O’Hara’s House ‘The Priory’
Neston Park, Wiltshire
The Grade II-listed residence was selected as The Falconry, dwelling for Tony portrayed by David Tennant and Monica Baddingham portrayed by Claire Rushbrook.
Situated near Corsham, the property has also appeared in BBC’s 2008 Larkrise to Candleford and ITV’s 2007 Persuasion.
