ITV is reviving a beloved programme for the first time in many years, featuring a unexpected new presenter from Clarkson’s Farm.
Lisa Hogan serves as Jeremy Clarkson’s partner and manages the 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm located in Chadlington, Oxfordshire.
The television personality has captured audiences with her straightforward demeanor on the popular series. Prior to her television career, she appeared in movies including Fierce Creatures, before taking time away to care for her three children.
The 51-year-old Irish former model and actress began appearing alongside Mr Clarkson when the Prime Video series premiered in 2021 and has since become instrumental in running the farm shop.
During a recent appearance on ITV’s This Morning, it was revealed that Ms Hogan would be hosting a new programme for the network titled Farming for Love.
The series will have her serving as a matchmaker for four unmarried farmers from throughout the United Kingdom who are seeking companions to share both their personal lives and agricultural work.
The forthcoming programme draws its concept from Farmer Wants a Wife, a reality television series where farmers are paired with potential romantic partners from urban areas.
The original programme debuted on ITV in 2001 for a single season, before being revived by Channel 5 in 2009.
Following the significant announcement, supporters and acquaintances of Ms Hogan have shown overwhelming encouragement and expressed their support.
On Fremantle UK’s Instagram post, one commenter wrote: “Fab, can’t wait, she’s brilliant.”
Another commented: “Amazing! Love that Lisa is gonna be on our screens more.”
A third stated: “What great content! Normal hardworking people, and Lisa is so natural”
