A children’s recreation area in Oxfordshire has been shut down temporarily, with guardians being urged to take note.
Witney Town Council has issued a notice regarding the brief shutdown of The Leys Play Park in Witney this week.
An announcement appeared on the local authority’s Facebook page on Wednesday, notifying parents and carers about the impending closure.
According to the council, The Leys Play Park will be unavailable for a short duration while necessary repair and improvement work takes place to prepare for the Splash Park’s launch on Friday, May 22.
Notices will be posted throughout the facility during the period of closure to keep local residents informed of developments.
The council expressed regret for any disruption caused and said it appreciated the community’s understanding as these vital upgrades are carried out.
