A female driver lost control of her vehicle on a rural route, causing it to overturn onto its roof after travelling at excessive speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour.
Jasmine Moore, residing in Weald Street, Weald, Bampton, received her sentence at Oxford Crown Court on May 21.
The defendant, aged 35, had been scheduled to face trial earlier this year on a single charge of dangerous driving.
She entered a guilty plea on the opening day of proceedings. Her former partner Kamil Fedorczuk, who was also facing identical charges, saw the case against him discontinued when prosecutors offered no evidence.
Mark Karpinski, presenting the case for the prosecution, said that the events occurred on April 19, 2023.
Moore and her then-partner travelled in a white Volkswagen to collect a rental vehicle, which turned out to be a red Hyundai Tucson.
Moore ultimately took control of the Hyundai and both individuals were observed passing multiple vehicles while travelling at high velocity.
Mr Karpinski said they were driving competitively in convoy.
The pair subsequently turned onto Buckland Road in Buckland Marsh, a 60mph rural route located in the southern part of Oxfordshire.
The court was told that a motorist in a Land Rover travelling in the opposite direction was struck by Moore, whose vehicle subsequently rolled onto its roof.
The court heard that Moore reached a maximum velocity of 93mph. Officers attended the scene and Moore was conveyed to hospital having sustained minor injuries.
She returned negative results for both alcohol and drugs.
In her defence, Moore was characterised as presenting a low likelihood of reoffending.
Judge Ian Pringle KC said that Moore had been overtaking vehicles with complete disregard for safety, and that it was only through good fortune that no one was injured.
Moore received a 14-month custodial sentence, suspended for a period of two years.
She was also directed to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirements, prohibited from driving for 12 months, and required to pass an extended driving test.
