Thames Valley Police responded rapidly to a disturbance at a secondary school in Oxfordshire.
Officers received word of a public order incident at Faringdon Community College on Thursday, May 21.
A force representative stated on Friday afternoon that officers arrived at the location on Fernham Road at approximately 12.55pm where the matter was dealt with quickly.
Principal Lisa Barker reported that a pupil was experiencing heightened emotions and was given assistance to regulate.
She explained that the matter was addressed quickly and professionally by school employees, with police assistance, to safeguard everyone present.
The school continues to prioritise a secure and nurturing atmosphere for its entire community and maintains partnerships with outside organisations to deliver this support.
