According to the publication, his digital supporters are campaigning for a knighthood to honour his extensive journalistic work, encompassing 38 years of television appearances covering not only automobiles and agriculture but also individual documentaries exploring topics ranging from Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Arctic supply routes to a bold British wartime operation targeting Nazi submarines. The publication also noted that having repeatedly missed out on Bafta recognition, he dismisses the notion of official accolades.
