A residential care facility in Oxfordshire marked World Food Day with a multicultural dining event.

Oxford Beaumont Care Community, situated in Boars Hill and operated by Barchester Healthcare, hosted the festivities on Friday, October 16.

Staff members at the home prepared an array of international cuisine for the occasion.

The spread included Japanese sushi, traditional Polish potato pancakes, Romanian ginger cakes, and South Indian biryani.

Vegetarian alternatives were also provided to accommodate all dietary requirements and ensure full participation.

A representative from the home stated that residents experienced great delight while sampling the various dishes and discovering culinary traditions from around the world.

The gathering united elderly residents, employees, and family members in the celebration.

Oxford Beaumont Care Community offers specialist support across several care categories, including dementia support, nursing care, residential services, and short-term respite stays.

The facility operates under Barchester Healthcare, an organisation recognised among Britain’s largest care providers and dedicated to delivering high-quality residential services.
