Bershka reveals October 29 opening for first Oxfordshire store at Westgate Oxford

A new fashion retail outlet is set to launch at Westgate Oxford, with the global clothing brand Bershka marking its debut in Oxfordshire.

The shopping complex has announced that the Spanish fashion retailer’s store will welcome its first customers on Thursday, October 29.

The premises will occupy a 11,000 square foot area on the upper ground floor, situated between H&M and Urban Outfitters.

This launch represents the inaugural opportunity for shoppers outside London and Birmingham to access the Bershka range.

The outlet will display the brand’s contemporary retail concepts, dividing its space into three principal departments.

The first caters to women with trend-focused garments, the second targets teenagers through the BSK line offering diverse styling options, and the third serves male customers with casual attire, essential wardrobe pieces, accessories, and footwear.

Westgate has characterised the store as providing a customer-focused purchasing environment, featuring dual checkout zones and expansive changing facilities across its considerable floor area.

Clare Martin, Centre Director at Westgate Oxford, confirmed that the brand had generated substantial anticipation since its addition to the centre was announced, with visitors frequently inquiring about the launch date.

She expressed satisfaction at finalising the opening schedule and looked forward to integrating another internationally recognised fashion name into the venue’s retail lineup.

Bershka was established in 1998 as an additional brand under the Spanish fashion conglomerate Inditex, initially targeting a youthful demographic before growing into a worldwide operator in clothing and accessory markets.
