A construction industry director has been handed a driving ban after being detected exceeding the speed limit on a motorway in Oxfordshire.
Mihai Dmatrasac was recorded travelling at 83 miles per hour in a BMW 5-Series vehicle along the M40 carriageway.
The incident occurred on the stretch between junction nine at Wendlebury Interchange and junction ten serving Bicester on 16 January.
The 40-year-old, who operates as a company director within the construction sector, faced proceedings at Slough Magistrates’ Court on 27 August.
Dmatrasac, whose residential address is listed as Leigham Court Road in London, entered a guilty plea to the single charge.
The court imposed a disqualification period of three months, together with a financial penalty of £307.
Additional payments of £120 in court costs and a £123 victim surcharge were also ordered.
