A German Shepherd that was involved in a traffic incident on a road in the Faringdon area has prompted an appeal from Thames Valley Police for information about its owner.
The collision occurred during the morning of September 5, 2026, on the road linking Hinton Waldrist and the A420.
Officers attended the scene and the animal was subsequently examined by veterinary staff.
However, checks of the dog’s microchip failed to register a current registered owner.
Authorities are requesting that anyone who may have recently lost a German Shepherd contact them by dialling 101.
