The actress Emma Watson was present at the opening ceremony of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, a new cultural institution established by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife Mellody Hobson.
The venue officially welcomed visitors during a prestigious launch event held at Exposition Park in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The celebration attracted numerous celebrity guests, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Harrison Ford, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and Michael B.

The museum’s stated objective involves highlighting the significance of narrative art and the creative minds responsible for producing it.
Watson, now 36, achieved widespread recognition through her portrayal of Hermione Granger in all eight instalments of the Harry Potter film series, acting alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
Her filmography also includes performances in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Little Women.
Following her acting career, Watson pursued academic studies, commencing a master’s programme in creative writing at Oxford University in September 2023.
In February 2025, she transitioned to a DPhil, the Oxford equivalent of a doctoral degree.
