Missing Derbyshire woman Sophia, 38, wearing only one shoe could be in Oxford

Derbyshire Police are searching for a 38-year-old woman who has been reported missing and may have travelled to the Oxford city centre area.

Sophia was last observed in the vicinity of Uttoxeter New Road in Mickleover, close to Derby, at approximately 11.45pm on Monday, September 14.

Officers from Derbyshire Constabulary stated that concerns are growing for her welfare, and their counterparts at Thames Valley Police have now been briefed to assist with locating her.

The missing individual has short-cropped hair.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black Adidas tracksuit trousers featuring red stripes, a black hooded top, and a blue and purple coloured trainer on her right foot.

Her left foot was bandaged and unshod.

Anyone possessing information regarding Sophia’s current whereabouts is urged to contact Derbyshire Police immediately by dialling 999, quoting reference number 105-150926.
