Among this year’s participants is Sebastian Croft, a 24-year-old entertainer who also works as a singer.
Several competitors have connections to Oxford.
Croft was born in the city and completed his schooling at The Dragon School and St Edward’s School.
His screen credits include appearances in Game of Thrones, Horrible Histories, and the Netflix drama Heartstopper.
Fellow cast member Michael Sheen also maintains ties to Oxford, having established a bursary scheme at Jesus College supporting Welsh undergraduate students.
Joan Washington, a voice coach, passed away on September 2, 2021, following a diagnosis of lung cancer.
