Thames Valley Police officers confiscated a vehicle in an Oxfordshire settlement after flagging it during routine patrols.
The force’s Rural Crime Taskforce intercepted a van along roads near Enstone, located in the western part of Oxfordshire, on September 16.
Authorities indicated the vehicle had been flagged by Gloucestershire Police as requiring attention.
Investigations confirmed the automobile had not been subject to road tax since June.
Documentation presented by the operator regarding coverage was deemed unreliable.
Subsequent inquiries substantiated that no valid insurance policy existed for the vehicle.
The individual operating the van faced reporting for the two violations, and authorities took possession of the automobile.
Earlier the same week, members of the Rural Crime Taskforce conducted overnight patrols across the adjacent county of Berkshire.
During this operation, a Ford Transit connected to metal theft incidents came into police custody for examination, and a trailer containing automotive batteries was impounded.
