A road in Oxfordshire has been rendered impassable following the collapse of a tree.

Initial reports surfaced indicating that the route connecting Bicester and Chesterton became obstructed on Tuesday afternoon, October 20.

A photograph depicting the obstruction was posted to a community Facebook group.

Local residents were informed at approximately 4:30pm that the roadway in Chesterton had become blocked, with advice issued for people to steer clear of the area.

The AA organization subsequently verified that an incident had occurred.

According to a company representative, the A4095 Bicester Road experienced partial obstruction and sluggish vehicle movement in both directions between Alchester Road and B4030 Vendee Drive.

Traffic conditions in the vicinity remained sparse by 6pm, based on information available from the AA’s online platform.
