The annual pub crawl initiative will return to Banbury this autumn, providing four weeks of activity for participants.

Banbury’s town centre business group is set to revive the promotional campaign, extending an invitation to both locals and tourists to visit establishments throughout the month.

The scheme encompasses a variety of drinking establishments, ranging from traditional taverns to contemporary cocktail lounges and televised sports venues.

Visitors accumulate markers throughout their journey and gain access to prize competitions.

A representative from the organizing body indicated that previous editions of the initiative had generated positive community response.

The statement added that anticipation remained high for continued participation as visitors explored unfamiliar locations while assisting independent traders.

Participating establishments feature several notable venues across the town.

The itinerary includes multiple watering holes located in the central area.

Participants obtain validation in their provided booklet following purchase of qualifying beverages at any of the registered locations.

Acquisition of five markers qualifies holders for inclusion in a prize draw offering gift vouchers valued at fifteen or twenty-five pounds.

Those collecting ten markers become eligible for a chance to win one hundred pounds in spending credits at any establishment involved in the scheme.

Documentation can be obtained directly from participating premises, as well as from dedicated points including the local lottery counter, the shopping centre reception, the local museum and the public library.

The initiative encourages a relaxed approach, allowing ample time for exploration of different venues whilst contributing to the vitality of the local hospitality industry.

The coordinating body has reminded all participants to maintain moderation throughout their participation in the event.
