A medical recruitment consultancy based in Rotherfield Greys, Henley-on-Thames, has collapsed into insolvent liquidation with debts exceeding £453,000.
Austin May Medical Ltd, established in 2011, provided medical recruitment services and maintained a workforce of approximately eleven staff members on average.
Proceedings in August established that the company could no longer meet its financial obligations, resulting in a voluntary winding-up arrangement and the appointment of liquidators on the same date, according to official notices published in The Gazette.
Filings with Companies House indicate the business faced a creditor deficiency of £453,682.
The statement of affairs details liabilities comprising £420,000 owed to HM Revenue and Customs covering PAYE and VAT commitments, alongside amounts due to banking institutions, company directors, and various other creditors.
Total creditor claims reached £458,682, while anticipated realisable assets were valued at merely £5,000, consisting primarily of goodwill.
The worth of any directors’ loan account remained unclear pending further examination by the appointed liquidator.
The records further indicate the company carried liabilities of approximately £34,000 to banking establishments and £2,680 to its directors, with additional smaller balances owed to trade and expense creditors.
HM Revenue and Customs represented the largest portion of the debt burden.
Former director Davinder Dhami subsequently published a statutory notice declaring plans to operate a substantially similar enterprise through another entity, Ammlocums Ltd, which conducts business under the trading name Xanderhendrix Healthcare.
The announcement appeared pursuant to insolvency legislation governing circumstances under which a company name may be reused following liquidation proceedings.
