Westgate Oxford is staging a canine-focused event later this month with competitions and rewards for pet owners.
The retail destination will hold its dog-themed occasion on September 19, offering visitors and their animals the opportunity to have photographs taken and enter prize draws.
The initiative, branded as The Mutt Strut, has been arranged in collaboration with DogFest.
Participants who capture images alongside their pets stand a chance of securing DogFest Plus passes, which are valued at more than £60 per ticket, along with a £100 John Lewis gift card.
According to organisers, the gathering presents what they describe as an ideal bonding experience for animals and their companions, with complimentary canine treats and products being distributed throughout the day.
Visitors may also explore the newly launched Dog Spa collection from retailer Rituals, featuring specially developed shampoo, cleansing wipes, fragrance items and related merchandise.
The range of dog accessories stocked by John Lewis will likewise be showcased.
Three additional winners will each receive a pair of standard entry tickets to the DogFest event being held at Blenheim Palace.
All those taking part will obtain a promotional code offering a discount of 20 percent on ticket purchases.
Entry involves visiting the photography area positioned in Leiden Square within the centre and adhering to the posted guidelines.
The occasion precedes DogFest at the Palace, a two-day festival accommodating dogs at the historic Blenheim Palace venue on October 3 and 4.
The festival programme encompasses the Agria Fun Dog Show, gatherings for specific breeds, live performances, retail opportunities and an appearance by Viola Snow, the social media canine personality.
