Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is preparing to hold its yearly gathering for members of the public and affiliated parties later this month.
The event, designated as both the Annual Public Meeting and the Annual Members’ Meeting, is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, September 30 at the John Radcliffe Hospital located in Oxford.
Those in attendance will include members of the local community, individuals receiving care, and personnel employed by the trust.
The programme will provide an overview of organisational performance throughout the preceding twelve months alongside details of upcoming objectives and initiatives.
Sir Andrew Morris, who serves as chairman of the trust, will formally commence proceedings.
Multiple senior figures will then deliver presentations covering various aspects of the organisation’s activities and financial position.
Professor Meghana Pandit occupies the role of chief executive, with Simon Crowther acting in an interim capacity within the executive team.
Jason Dorsett handles financial responsibilities as chief finance officer.
Each will address delegates regarding their respective areas of oversight.
George Krasopoulos carries out the function of lead governor and will deliver an account of the council of governors’ activities during the past year.
Additional contributions will come from Sophie Tanner alongside representatives from the Hospital at Home initiative.
Yvonne Christley, holding the position of chief nursing officer, will present information pertaining to the patient experience and strategies for ongoing engagement with those under the trust’s care.
A dedicated segment will allow those present to raise queries and seek clarification on matters discussed during the formal proceedings.
Prior to the commencement of formal business, exhibition stalls and light refreshments will be accessible from 5.30pm in Foyer 3 of the Academic Centre building.
The primary session will commence at 6pm, with the overall event expected to conclude at approximately 8pm.
