Officers from Thames Valley Police initiated the arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
The detention occurred on August 30 after the local neighbourhood policing team conducted patrols alongside two police dogs and their handler.

A chase then commenced through various gardens in the town before crossing onto a cricket ground where a match was in progress.

The man was subsequently discovered concealed behind an outdoor storage structure and arrested on the relevant charge.
