The prestigious Salon Privé gathering commenced at Blenheim Palace for 2026, marking another year for this high-end automotive showcase.
Wednesday, September 2, featured the commencement of judging activities alongside exclusive private viewings throughout the day.
The event encompassed twelve distinct Concours categories spanning nearly one hundred years of automotive heritage.
Among the featured divisions were celebrations of motoring’s golden era, six decades of Touring coachbuilding excellence, the Italian lifestyle, six decades of Lamborghini’s iconic Miura model, and Ferrari’s enduring legacy.
Two fresh divisions were introduced for this edition: a category honouring distinctive digital-era vehicles and another dedicated to contemporary hypercars.
These additions acknowledged the expanding significance of modern high-performance automobiles within the global collector market.
The judging process extended across Wednesday and Thursday, with the exhibition grounds displaying a collection of roughly seventy iconic classics, supercars and hypercars sourced from across the globe.
Notable vehicles on display comprised a Maserati 8C 3000, an Alfa Romeo Sprint Berlinetta, a unique Maserati 3500GT Spyder Prototipo bearing Vignale coachwork, an exceptionally early Porsche 356 Split Window Coupé, an Aston Martin DB3S, a Lamborghini Miura P400S, a Bizzarrini 5300GT, a Ferrari 250 GT Series 1 Cabriolet, a Bugatti EB110 Prototype, an Aston Martin Valiant Prototype and the remarkable Bugatti Bolide, of which merely forty examples were manufactured worldwide.
