One street in the district faces a week-long closure to allow construction activities to take place.
Oxfordshire County Council revealed that Abbott Road in Abingdon will be shut from September 28 through to October 2.
The temporary measure is required to enable the council to carry out necessary maintenance.
All vehicles will be prohibited from using the route throughout this timeframe.
Should circumstances demand it, the council retains the right to prolong the restriction, with a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular routes and half a year for pedestrian and cycling paths.
Those wishing to find out more about the scheme can reach the authority by calling 0345 310 1111 or sending an electronic message to highway.enquiries@oxfordshire.gov.uk.
