The company, which has set an ambition of operating 1,500 stores throughout the UK, has published its latest list of target locations for development.
The chain is looking for premises available on a freehold, leasehold, or long-leasehold basis, situated in high-visibility positions with straightforward customer access.
Jonathan Neale, the national real estate managing director for Aldi in the UK, stated that the company understands how crucial it is for residents to obtain affordable, quality food within their local area, which is why they are concentrating on pinpointing communities that would gain the most from a new Aldi presence.

Aldi continues to hold the position of the UK’s top-paying supermarket for retail staff, with assistants commencing employment at £13.50 per hour across the country and £14.88 within the M25 zone.
