A high-end fitness clothing company has joined forces with a deferred payment provider for its British retail locations.
Lululemon, famed for its yoga-style bottoms and workout garments, has introduced Klarna transactions across its 21 outlets.
One of these outlets operates from the exclusive designer shopping destination Bicester Village, which commenced trading in 2017.
Shoppers can now access the adaptable settlement option on the premises by reading a QR code at the point of sale and processing the deal via the Klarna application.
The settlement alternative, which has been operational on Lululemon’s digital platform for over five years, enables purchasers to divide costs into interest-free portions or postpone settlement for a month without requiring an additional card.
The rollout across physical locations forms part of Klarna’s wider initiative to grow its footprint in traditional retail environments.
