Huge crowds flocked to the Cotswolds Designer Outlet as the centre kicked off a bustling week of festivities to mark its first anniversary.

The four-day event, running from Thursday 16 July through to Sunday 19 July, featured a full schedule of activities such as live entertainment, wellness activities, prize giveaways and exclusive deals from stores throughout the retail destination.

Local favourite Go Vocal Choir entertained visitors with their musical act, Sweaty Betty ran a special Pilates session and Weird Fish treated customers to free cupcakes, champagne and special price reductions.

The festivities hit their high point during the closing weekend, with the venue buzzing with live music, street entertainers, competitions and activities for all the family.

The Tippled Fox Bar enhanced the celebratory mood by offering an array of beverages including cocktails, prosecco, beers and non-alcoholic options.

A birthday initiative also proved a hit, with guests whose special occasions fell during the same week as the centre collecting a commemorative present.

Since its launch on 16 July 2025, the Cotswolds Designer Outlet has attracted millions of visitors and established itself as a favoured spot for shopping, eating out and days together.

Alongside more than 50 major fashion, lifestyle and homeware names, guests can choose from cafés, restaurants and an expanding range of local independent traders such as KNEAD Bakery and The Patisserie Box.

The outlet has also become a valuable part of the neighbourhood by staging complimentary family events across the year and backing groups including Tewkesbury Abbey, The Roses Theatre, the Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards and the SoGlos Lifestyle and Community Awards.

Adrian Field, Centre Manager at Cotswolds Designer Outlet, described it as an incredible way to celebrate the first birthday. He noted it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces throughout the week and to watch families, friends and visitors enjoying everything the retailers had planned. He added that the team was incredibly grateful to everyone who came along to celebrate with them and to all of their retailers and partners who helped make the week so memorable.
